The hours past by in a moments. After awhile the only traces of her tears were bloodshot eyes and a slight sniffle. Soon after her hands had lost their tremble, my owner waddled through the door. I noticed he had a fresh set of worry lines crisscrossing his forehead. Roughly, he pulled Cheia to her feet and with a hard kick to her lower back he sent her sailing through the rusty hinged metal door. She visited me quite frequently, but I never saw her again.
